Great success at the IFA 2009
The world's leading business event for consumer electronics and home appliances provided a platform for 1,164 national and international exhibitors to present their lates product innovations and developments. The record amount of 119,000 international trade visitors and 228,000 visitors in total exceeded all expectations.
The EURONICS booth this year was even larger in size than last year. With its 750 square meters of space, right in the middle of the public area, the representation of our brand was a great success. More than 100.000 visitors of the public area as well as EURONICS members from all European member countries took advantage of our competent advisors on latest technologies and trends of the consumer electronics industry. Our raffles with attractive prizes and EURONICS give-aways enjoyed great popularity and made the EURONICS booth a lively area of entertainment and exchange.
One highlight for EURONICS was the "Curry-Wurst" event on Saturday. The EURONICS party hosted 624 international guests, a plus of 15% compared to 2008. EURONICS European management, dealers, key-industry partners and representatives of the press came together for a stimulating exchange of experiences and future perspectives. Also the press conference of EURONICS International was a great success, arround 65 media representatives of the German and international press attented the publication of EURONICS latest news. Our full service offers for members made the EURONICS booth a home base for more than 1,000 EURONICS dealers visiting. The popular guided tours of IFA highlights and the massive presence to the highly involved visitors set a strong kick-off mark for the end-of-year trade in 2009.
