Euronics Groups proudly supported UEFA Women's Football for its second season. Through remarkable initiatives and country activations, Euronics showcased its commitment to the sport while empowering local communities.

 

The 2022-2023 UEFA Women's Football season shattered previous records and witnessed a surge in popularity. From soaring attendance figures at stadiums to record-breaking TV viewership numbers, the sport keeps gaining significant momentum.

On a local level Euronics members created successful activations by embracing the opportunities the sponsorship offers.

 

In Estonia, Euronics maximized the U17 European Championship as an opportunity to activate and promote women's football. The championship showcased the immense talent of young female footballers across Europe. Euronics implemented relevant activations aimed at engaging youth with a gaming zone in the stadium and promoting the U17 Estonian team in huge billboards all over Tallinn. Additionally, they tied a sales campaign to the event were customers could win a trip to the Champions League final in Eindhoven.

 

The German organization continued its partnership with former national goalkeeper Almuth Schult. Schult was used as brand ambassador in podcasts, social media activations and tv commercials. In Spain, Euronics took pride in sponsoring the U12 Girls Championship, showcasing its commitment to supporting youth football. This sponsorship of the tournament provided a platform for young girls to showcase their skills, compete, and pursue their football dreams. By investing in grassroots initiatives, Euronics actively contributed to the development and empowerment of the next generation of female players in Spain.

The season reached its climax with a thrilling UEFA Women's Champions League (UWCL) final between Barcelona and Wolfsburg. This high-stakes match captivated fans worldwide and showcased the extraordinary talent and competitiveness of women's football.
