Euronics is proud to be featured once again in IFA Paper 2026, the official publication distributed during IFA, the world's leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances.
For many years, Euronics International has been a strong supporter of IFA and its role as Europe's most important meeting point for the consumer electronics and home appliances industry. Bringing together retailers, suppliers, manufacturers, brands and innovators from around the world, IFA provides a unique platform for collaboration, business development and the exchange of ideas that shape the future of retail and technology.
As an international retail organisation operating across 36 countries, Euronics values the opportunity IFA creates to strengthen industry partnerships, discover emerging trends and contribute to discussions that drive innovation throughout the sector. Euronics' continued participation in both the exhibition and IFA Paper reflects the organisation's commitment to supporting one of the industry's most influential events and helping advance the consumer electronics ecosystem.
This year's contribution to IFA Paper focuses on two strategic priorities that are helping shape the future of Euronics: digital transformation and retail excellence.
Accelerating Data, Learning and Performance
In the first article, John Olsen, CEO of Euronics International, highlights how Euronics is leveraging digital innovation to build a more connected, efficient and future-ready organisation.
At the heart of this transformation is EPIC, the Product Information Management platform that enables Euronics to manage and share product data across suppliers and members through a centralised repository. By creating a single reliable source of product information, EPIC helps improve data quality, consistency and operational efficiency throughout the network.
As adoption continues to grow, the platform now supports more than 31,000 products across 50 categories, helping retailers access accurate information while supporting a seamless omnichannel customer experience.
Alongside EPIC, Euronics continues to expand Euroverse, the organisation's digital learning platform. Designed to provide scalable and consistent training opportunities across the network, Euroverse covers topics such as technology, innovation, artificial intelligence and sustainability while integrating with local learning management systems.
The impact of Euroverse continues to increase, with more than 95,000 learning sessions completed, over 8,500 active users, and educational content contributed by 20 supplier partners in 2026. Together, EPIC and Euroverse demonstrate Euronics' commitment to empowering its people, strengthening collaboration and ensuring that members have access to the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in an increasingly digital retail environment.

Performance Through Clarity and Consistency
The second article features Hans Carpels, President of Euronics International, who reflects on the principles that continue to drive the organisation's success in a rapidly evolving retail landscape.
As Euronics celebrates 35 years in EMEA, the article explores how the retail environment has become increasingly complex. Price transparency, rising operational costs, economic uncertainty and changing consumer expectations continue to reshape the market, placing greater importance on efficiency, adaptability and customer focus.
Despite these challenges, Euronics remains committed to a clear and consistent approach based on customer value, local expertise and trusted relationships. According to Hans Carpels, the organisation's strength lies not only in its scale but also in its ability to maintain the personal touch that has always distinguished the Euronics network.
This philosophy is reflected in Euronics' omnichannel strategy, which combines the benefits of digital retail with the expertise, advice and service offered by local stores. Rather than viewing physical and digital retail as separate channels, Euronics continues to integrate both into one seamless customer experience, ensuring consumers receive the same high standard of service at every touchpoint.

A Network Built for the Future
The strength of Euronics can be seen in the scale of its international network. Today, Euronics generates more than €26 billion in turnover, operates across 36 countries, and brings together more than 3,500 stores, 3,300 service points and approximately 60,000 retail professionals.
This extensive network enables Euronics to combine international scale with local market expertise, creating value for members, suppliers and consumers alike. By continuously investing in digital capabilities, learning initiatives and operational excellence, the organisation remains well positioned to support its members in a rapidly changing retail environment.

Looking Ahead
As technology, consumer behaviour and retail continue to evolve, Euronics remains focused on helping its members adapt and thrive. Through strategic initiatives such as EPIC and Euroverse, the organisation is building the foundations for long-term growth while strengthening collaboration and knowledge sharing across the network.
The articles featured in IFA Paper 2026 reflect Euronics' commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and customer-centric retailing. They also reaffirm the organisation's longstanding support for IFA as a key platform for industry collaboration, inspiration and progress.
By combining investment in people, technology and partnerships, Euronics continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading omnichannel retail organisations in EMEA and a trusted partner for consumers, suppliers and members across the international retail community.
